INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS    Download paper model


         The journal appears quarterly, in the months of March, June, September and December.
         The articles will be edited in English only. The font used must be exclusively Verdana, with size 10 characters.
         One author may publish a maximum of three articles in one number, either alone or in colaboration.
         Responsibility for the content of tge article (articles) is solely the author (authors).       
         The article’s sequence

         It is as follows (as a guide): title, author’s name, the main affiliation of the author (authors), abstract, key-words, introduction, material and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, acknoledgements (if necessary), references, the complete address of the author (authors), including e-mail.
         There are not allowed inter-page notes.
         The title will be aligned from left, and bolded.   
         Under the title: first name (whole, lowercased) and the author’s last name (lowercased)< if there are several authors, their names will be separated by commas.
         Then the Abstract follows, between 8 and 15 rows.
         After the abstract, will be up to five key-words.
         The title will be written with capitol letters. The Chapters will be written with bolded characters. The possible subdivisions will be written with bolded and italic characters.
         At the author’s adress where he can be contacted  (or, optionaly, to the authors in the same order that they signed the work), it will be indicated the first and last name, in row letters, the institution, street, number, postal code,  town, country, e-mail. The adress will be written with normal characters.

         References  details

         The authors will be written with normal characters, in alfabetical order, first the last name then the initial of the first name.
         When an author with more articles, there will be written in chronological order, first the articles signed alone, and then the articles signed with a colaborator (if there are more articles signed with different colaborators, the order will be alfabetical, minding the colaborators name), then those with two colaborators and so on. If quoting more articles of the same author, printen in the same year, after the year will be added „a, b, c” etc.
         In case of an article signed by more authors, the authors will be written in order: last name and the initial of the first name, then comma, last name and initial of the first name of the second author and so on.
         The year will be mentioned following  the author’s name , with normal caracters, then the entire title of the quoted article using normal font, then the title of the periodic, volume, number or fascicle (between brackets), pages. In case of books, after the title, will be mentioned the publishing house and town of appearence, editors and pages.   
         If a chapter, an article, the 1-n pages from a volume, after the year, the chapter’s title will be mentioned using normal fonts, pages and then, with normal characters: author’s or editor’s name, volume’s title, volume’s or fascicle’s number, publishing house, town, number of pages.
         The bibliography will be as limited as possible, to the point. It is mandatory that the quoted works to appear in the bibliographical list. Also, there will be not included in the bibliographical list works unquoted in the text. We recommend avoiding excessive self-quotations.
         Referral to bibliography is made by indicating, between brackets, the last name of the written author with row characters, followed by the year. For example: (Popescu 1977). In case of two authors, between brackets will be written the last name of the both authors followed by the year. For example: (Popescu & Ionescu 1968). When there are more than two authors, it will be written the last name of the first author and collaborators. For example: (Popescu et al 1970).

         Details reffering to illustration

         All explanatory notaries that appear on illustration (photography, drawings, maps, sketches, diagrams etc.) will be made exclusively in English. We recommend that the illustration to be as compact as possible, especially in case of photographs (both colour and black and white)
         The illustration will be numbered from 1 to n. The explanations, as concise, will be written with normal characters, centrally, below the figures. It is mandatory to write the source of the illustration if it not belongs to the author (authors).
         In the text, using brackets will make referral to figures: (Figure 1).

         Details reffering to tables
         All tables will be numbered from 1 to n. In the text, referral to tables will be made using brackets: (Table 1). The table’s number will be written centrally using normal letters, Arabic numerals and its title will be written centrally, with normal characters, as following:

         Additional details

          The enunciation of a taxon in the title involves mentioning the superior taxa in which it is situated, by first mentioning the superior taxon and then the inferior one, separated by comma. For example: Considerations on Pseudorasbora parva species Temminck & Schlegel, 1846 (Teleostei, Cyprinidae, Gobioninae) in the Danube basin.
         The genus and species name (regardless of the appearence in the text) will be written using italic font. Suprageneric names: tribe, subfamily, family, suborder, order, subclass, class will be written with row letters.
         The text will be written in a single column.
         Alignment  will be made using exclusively the Tab key.
