Medicinal plants are globally valuable sources of herbal products, and they are disappearing at a high speed. In current years, the mandate for medicinal and perfumed plants has grown rapidly because of augmented local, national and worldwide interest, the latter particularly from Western pharmaceutical industry. Currently, resource-poor people in Jordan, humblest collect plants from the wild in order to accompaniment their scanty incomes. Due to continued collection and increasing market demand, many plant species are endangered with extermination. For rational and regulated collection, strong local societies or strict organizational control measures are needed. High dangers, transaction costs and lack of trust among chain actors as well as lack of efficient management for sustainable use of medicinal plants prevent smallholder manufacturers from taking up cultivation of medicinal plants, which are of promising value in whether for use in traditional medicine or in pharmaceutical industry. This article reviews global trends, developments and views for the methodologies regarding conservation and sustainable use of medicinal plant resources to provide a reliable reference for the conservation and sustainable use of medicinal plants. The need of considering conservation strategies as well as resource management is emphasised in order to finally get sustainable use of medicinal plant resources. Applying biotechnologies should be priority in order to improve yield and modify the strength of medicinal plants, paying attention to a careful investigation in this regard. Anyway a systemic approach would be needed in order to succeed considering the multitude of aspects related to growth and use of medicinal plants.

The study of distribution of heat fluxes of solar radiation with model corollas of red, yellow and blue colors. It was found that blue corollas absorb less solar energy than red corollas, which confirms the existence of a geographic and seasonal convergence of corolla coloration. Species with a blue corolla are more adapted to low temperatures, while those with a red corolla are more adapted to high temperatures.

The actuality of our research topic is given by the devastating COVID-19 epidemic which is spreading even today. Without appropriate disinfectants, it is not possible to manage the risk of an epidemic, reduce the spread of infections, and use effective disinfection procedures. During our research, we examined the disinfectants available in Hungary according to their physical and chemical properties and effect spectrum, taking into account the possibilities of use. During the experiments, the evaporation time of the selected disinfectants was examined, and the results were analyzed. With our research, we want to contribute to the management of biological emergencies, and with our experience, we want to promote the effective practical application of disinfectants.
